Objectives / Mission

Garrion Peoples’ Housing Co-operative's mission is:

We aim to provide a high quality locally based landlord service, which is locally controlled, consulting

with and involving the community in key policy and other decisions. At the same time we will manage

our tenants’ money with care, taking all steps to ensure that the Co-operative provides a value for

money service in all aspects of its business.

We have six key strategic objectives:

1.	We will perform to the best of our abilities as a landlord and consult with tenants and others on how our performance can be continually improved.
2.	We will conduct ourselves in an open and accountable manner, displaying high standards of corporate governance.
3.	We will seek to achieve value for our tenant’s money in all aspects of the day to day business. We will take appropriate professional advice on matters of long-term finance and investments.
4.	We will ensure that a fair and consistent approach is used by staff when dealing with customers and that proper and accurate advice is being provided.
5.	We will continue to grow in a way which meets the needs of our Communities, Tenants and Shareholders.
6.	We will help address the social and economic imbalances in our community through Wider Action initiatives.
